Work package 1

Programme and technical management

As well as being responsible for the overall delivery of the programme, the Hy4Heat programme team oversaw and managed the other work packages. It performed oversight and governance duties such as:

  • supporting procurement activity and contractor appointments

  • managing work package delivery contracts and checking milestone achievements

  • identifying potential risks and putting in place mitigation measures where possible

  • undertaking engagement activity with the the established stakeholder group and wider industry

  • producing regular reports and updates for BEIS

Since the start of the programme in late 2017, the programme and technical management team established a robust, transparent and evidence-based approach, providing regular industry updates, reports and presentations on its progress.
